Where do I even begin! We owned our home for a whole 10 days before the derecho devastated parts of Iowa. Being a first-time homebuyer who hadn’t even made our first house payment, now we had a rather large insurance claim to go up against. Tony helped every step of the way from bringing us multiple options for roofing colors and siding to answering my multiple texts/calls with questions along the way to handling all the insurance back and forth. They were able to get the material to do our house and garage in a quick and timely manner. Tony and Nick did a wonderful job communicating along the way and taking time and pride in their work. They treated each project with so much pride and care as if they were working on their own home. Recovery Restorations redid our roof on our house and garage, total siding removal and replacement on both, and upgraded our soffit to a much more modern look. I would choose Tony and Nick over and over again. They took their time and even built relationships with our kids and dogs. A good contractor is hard to find but with them you’re not only getting a contractor, you’re getting a genuine team who cares along the way and won’t stop till it’s perfect.
We are absolutely satisfied with the roofing work performed by Recovery Restorations. From start to finish, Nick and Tony guided us through the entire process. We had hail damage and never filed a claim this large with our insurance company before, so we didn’t know where to start. They took the lead and mediated the entire process with the insurance company on our behalf. They even made themselves available when the adjuster was scheduled to inspect the roof. They were punctual, communicative, and went above and beyond to ensure our roof was in top-notch condition. The quality of materials used and the craftsmanship are outstanding. Our new roof not only looks fantastic but also provides us with the confidence that it will last for years to come. We cannot thank them enough for their exceptional service — would highly recommend! 5 stars!
Recovery Restorations was great! They were cheaper than the other 4 quotes we got. Our garage needed to be replaced. Tony and his crew came over replaced the roof in Dec. and got it done quick. Crew worked well, were nice, approachable, and respectful. Highly recommend Recovery Restorations and will use them again!
Tony, Nick, and team did an awesome job. Was a pleasure through and through. Initially our first contractor left us hanging and Tony didn’t hesitate to jump in, make things right, and work with our insurance to get storm damage resolved. Definitely 5 star.
I have a small second story balcony on the back of my house with its own roof. The roof was in bad condition and the balcony asphalt flooring needed to be replaced. Not only did Tony stop out and look at the scope of work, he also had a very reasonable quote back to me in a couple days. After accepting, Tony was able to schedule the work within a couple weeks. The roof was replaced, and the balcony asphalt replaced with rubber. The quality of work is top notch and even though the job was not large in comparison to a whole roof replacement, Tony and his crew treated me as a valued customer. Recovery Restorations will absolutely be my first go-to for roofing and siding.
Tony and Nick were amazing! Tony went above and beyond by walking me through all the insurance paperwork and reaching out to them to clarify some things! He came back a couple times to make sure I understand everything! Crew was on time and prompt! Super great experience! Highly recommend!
Love this company!! I am so extremely happy with their professionalism, timely delivery, knowledge, promptness and just all-around nice guys!! I have a metal roof (installed 2015) and was having huge problems with leakages around the chimney & vent pipes. Thanks to this company (Tony), they informed me the flashing was not done correctly around the chimney and the caulking was pretty inadequate around the vent pipes. (Of course, weather played a huge part in the deterioration of the caulk.) They went the extra mile and removed vent pipe flashing, caulked underneath, reinstalled flashing and caulked the top. (Double Protection) They did this on all vent pipes, roof fan and replaced boot on electrical inlet. They repaired flashing around the chimney and Nick gave me detailed info on the process. Nick also informed me that I was missing a screw and weather stripping on the top part of my roof. Repaired, no cost. Tony and Nick are so easy to talk to… Great guys!! Thank you, Tony & Crew!! You are my go-to guys/heroes!!
I cannot speak highly enough of this company! Tony was very prompt in returning my initial phone call and setting up a time to come out and look at our roof after hail damage from a storm. We were very pleased with all of their roofing color options. They offered a high quality of materials. Once the job started, Nick was on site with the crew every day. Our roof was no small task either. We have many steep peaks due to our home being a Victorian. Nick is very professional. His communication is stellar. He explained everything very clearly every step of the way. They completed the job in only 3 days with our 3.5 car garage included! The crew was exceptional in making sure our property was cleaned up each night. Hopefully we don’t need to replace our roof for another 25 years, but if a storm should pass through again causing damage, these are the guys I will be calling. Tony and Nick are very honest and professional. Our experience as a whole was perfection. I couldn’t have asked for a better company to have worked for us. Again, I highly HIGHLY recommend this company. They are awesome! Thank again for everything.
After a tornado severely damaged our roof, Tony, Nick, and their crew truly saved us! They did excellent work and were always professional on the job. But the greatest thing they did was helping us become educated about how to navigate storm damage. Tony walked us through what to expect and he personally inspected our insurance settlement offers. He helped us see things we didn’t know were missing as well as helping us get the actual value of the roof instead of just what insurance offered. They are a small business that may not have as much name recognition yet, but they are excellent! We are so glad they were on our team.
Having to deal with storm damage to your house can be stressful and feel overwhelming. After my home received hail damage it was hard to know who to trust. From the initial call to Tony at Recovery Restorations, until the work was done, my experience working with Tony and Nick was incredible. They are both extremely knowledgeable, always let me know where things were at and when work would be done, and made sure to answer any questions I had promptly. I’m writing this review as an employee/on behalf of Badger Globe Credit Union in Neenah, WI. The credit union recently had its roof replaced by Recovery Restorations, and we are very happy with and would strongly recommend them to others. As part of our discovery process, Recovery Restorations was one of five businesses we reached out to in order to discuss and get quotes on our roof work. Nick and Tony were incredibly responsive from my initial inquiry and came fully prepared for our first meeting, doing well in explaining the details and the work involved. Their quote was very competitive, and they were able to accommodate our business hours so as to not interrupt our normal operations. Our Building & Grounds committee had some follow-up questions, and both Nick and Tony made time to come in at a specific day/time that we asked them to be there. With regard to the actual work itself, the roof was finished in a single day on one weekend, and we had new gutters installed in a single day a week later. Throughout the installation process, Nick was very communicative, sending photo updates of progress, as well as mentioning any issues he noticed or questions he needed clarification on. When the work was done, it was as if nobody was there; everything was all cleaned up and left as it was found. Additionally, Recovery Restorations went above and beyond by noticing our building had a missing soffit; they made us aware of the issue and came back on a different day to install a new piece for us without any fuss. All told, our experience was incredibly positive. From the initial inquiry to the final follow-up meeting, both Nick and Tony were thorough and quick to communicate with the credit union on all aspects of the process, and their follow-through was impeccable. The quote was very competitive, and the work itself was done well and in a timely manner, and has already been commented on by numerous individuals. I believe they mentioned in one of our meetings that their goal as a company was to provide luxury work for an everyday price, and they met that goal with us. Great service throughout the whole process of replacing a roof with hail damage. Nick and Tony inspected my roof and noticed I had hail damage. They were there when my insurance inspector came through to point out the damage. They replaced my roof and cleanup was great as well — would totally recommend.
Great experience working with Tony and Nick. They were out days after a tornado to patch my roof and had it replaced within a couple weeks. Everyone was very professional easy to work with. Would definitely work with them in the future.

During a rainstorm I noticed that I had a small leak in my roof that was making its way into the house. I called Recovery Restorations and Tony came out during the storm and got it all patched up for me! Talk about great service!
